Nintendo DS and R4 are true technological advancement

Many years have gone by without many breaks in technological advancement in an obvious way like the Nintendo DS range of consoles and products like the R4. Twenty years ago there would have been a break of some kind where technology faltered significantly and consumers would have backed away from purchasing as a result. However these days that is simply not an issue.

This is partly because the advancements made in technology have been in the ability to combine multiple functions into one machine. In other ways it has been advancement in being able to make technology on a miniscule scale; where it sent from bigger is better to smaller is more convenient. These sorts of advancements have made changes to the way in which we live and think about the world. It is much more important now for a device to be able to be used on the move than it is about price. People will pay what is required to get a good and efficient product.

Nintendo has been at the forefront of these conceptual changes; taking consoles from big and bulky items to ones that fit in the hand, the pocket and on the move. Nintendo has mastered the art of multi-compatibility by putting the best features of technology on the market into one fairly inexpensive product. Along with this console technology has come a breed of other devices that coexist with them. The R4 is one such product that has attracted attention from gamers for its ability to assist the already convenient console to become the easiest to use.

It allows gamers a seemingly never ending ability to transfer and store data without affecting game play. True advancement has come in the form of the Nintendo DS and R4 without a doubt.

Nintendo DSI LL - a fan favourite

There are a number of fantastic technological devices available on the market at the moment but none with more hype than the Nintendo DSI XL. This is the newest baby in the Nintendo DS console range. It is preceded by the first popular consoles that essentially shifted the way in which gaming was done and perceived by people around the world.

The previous models have all grown in functionality as they have progressed with inclusions like WIFI capability and the ability to work as a multi-faceted multimedia tool. This means that it was used for gaming, movie viewing, music playing, photographic manipulation and internet. It has been an impressive console since it hit the market a number of years ago. For these reasons it is easy to see why a new Nintendo console in the range would make headlines worldwide.

It is due for release on the 5th of March 2010 and the first area of the world to be graced by its presence in Europe. This means that no information has been given yet on when it will be released and in what format it will be released in other countries like Japan and America. Forums are of course buzzing because it is a hotly anticipated item.

However, Nintendo have been very quiet when it comes to specifications for the newest of its consoles. It is rumoured to be essentially the same as its previous counterpart the DSI. Of course it does have a much larger screen making it easier to see and use.

Regardless of what its specifications are there is no doubt that fans will be buying the new Nintendo DSI XL.
